WRITER
Over the joyous period that was the pandemic, I wrote a very serious musical with Oli George Rew, about babies taking over the world.

The Night Our Parents Disappeared is a comedy adventure - the epic lovechild of The Powerpuff Girls and Rick and Morty - concocted in vitro in Dexter's Lab.

The show received an R&D in 2021, and has been presented in concert, selling out the Other Palace Studio twice in 2022.
​
We were subsequently invited to be present the show at the Rewrites Festival for new musicals at The Lowry.
​
In October 2022, it was announced that one of the songs from the show, 'The Inventor's Daughter', had been nominated for the Stiles and Drewe Best New Song Prize. The song was selected from 176 entries, and was performed in concert alongside eleven other finalists at The Other Palace.

As a writing partnership, Oli and I were selected to become members of Mercury Musical Developments' Advanced Writers Lab.
We are currently developing our second project.
